Sports Health Technology, Augmented Reality Systems and Neurotech – our portfolio companies used this year's CES in Las Vegas to build future collaborations, represent Swiss Tech and to strengthen strategic relationships.

Simon Bachmann from the neuroscience high-tech startup Idun Technologies used the tech fair to pitch their technology to several consumer electronics companies around the world. "We had the chance to do a neurotech startup dinner to foster an open ecosystem around building a safe, human-centered future", says CEO Bachmann. His highlight was the announcement of LG to release an in-ear EEG TWS earbud, which cements the market interest of the technology that they are building.

The Sports Health Technology brand Supersapiens reports that CES 2023 was one of the "most productive and invigorating weeks" since they launched. They joined Abbott’s forum on how technology can play a role in the present and future of athlete performance and safety. One of Supersapiens’ ambassadors, Ironman triathlete Skye Moench, was a speaker on the panel.

The Supersapiens booth had a non-stop flow of traffic all week: Discussions were ranging from potential VC investors for both the current round and Series A, B2B partnerships, numerous departments of the military, and curious attendees. CEO and Founder Phil Southerland and other members of the executive and science teams were in constant meetings with potential partners and investors.

Simon Hecker, CEO at Aegis Rider, was part of the SwissTech Pavilion where he had many productive conversations with other industry players. His company develops augmented-reality based safety systems for motorcyclists. According to Hecker the interest in their technology was beyond their initial expectation. He was particularly excited to see new AR optic technologies being showcased, which will further improve the user experience and adoption of this technology.
