Tipi develops an AI that allows developers to write C and C++ software without build scripts. Their products showed market traction and therefore Serpentine does a follow-up investment.
Tipi.build creates an AI augmented developer tool to allow native software developers to compile software 50 times faster and simplify the build process drastically. With the advent of IoT, high frequency trading and cross platform development, the share of native programming languages like Go, Rust and C++ has skyrocketed. Native languages are the base critical layer of all software, their constant evolution over the last decade resulted in an highly fragmented and historically grown ecosystem, hindering seriously five millions native development professionals to stay productive.
Since the initial investment of Serpentine Ventures Rookie Fund I in Tipi, several positive developments have taken place: Tipi has successfully completed projects with several customers, and, launched their product in March 2022 following extensive testing. In the meantime more than 700 users have signed up for their service. The company built up a strong sales pipeline and aims to become the go-to solution in the build space, by adapting it’s core technology to support additional languages.
